Since graduating with a BA of Music degree from HfM Würzburg in 2015, I have been teaching drums and percussion privately to individuals and groups of all ages, skill levels and musical backgrounds. I have also taught improvisation workshops and workshops on making music in a theatrical context.

With my teaching I want to create a personal approach to music, without the idea of getting better as a competitive idea. For me, music is communication, so it is also about getting to know each other, connecting with one’s own body and enjoying the expression of feelings. But for me it is also about the play itself, the playfulness, a freedom in trying things out and the development of a tonal togetherness.

In the form of individual lessons in my rehearsal room in Düsseldorf, at the student’s home or via Zoom/Skype/etc., I offer individually designed lessons for drummers of all ages and needs.
I place special emphasis on the development of the student’s own creativity and expressiveness, as well as on the development of their musical imagination and their own access and flow on the instrument. Together with the students I want to find a way between the fun of trying out and an individual learning progress.
