The duo Liebhaber/Neubauer plays improvised music. Between unintentionally created sound imageries and freely pulsating entities, they find their own expression. They explore the unknown, the diffuse, the stillness, and bring the listener into a music beyond concrete forms and patterns, a music that only foreshadows an abstract feeling, rather a state, a music that is only completed through listening.
With Liebhaber/Neubauer two musicians are coming together who want to develop their own music collectively. They do this not via compositions and prior agreements, but quite the opposite, through the complete absence of any preparations and through openness to what is at the moment.
